Employment question:

I am on suspension due to breach of confidentiality. I spoke about what I knew to a work colleague, who in turn repeated it to another colleague. Where does the breach of confidentiality end? Could it be argued that there was a further breach of confidentiality in this case? Is this a sackable offence?

This would depend upon your position and the seriouness of the breach. If you do argue the further breach point, then your employer is obliged to invesitage in an appropriate manner before reaching a conclusion.

Whether or not it is a dismissable offence; you need to consult the company handbook. Feel free to discuss further if you need to.
