Carol Hopwood is co founder and a share holding Director of Goodmans Law and heads up the serious and fatal injury team. Brought up and educated in Liverpool, Carol attended Chester Law School before completing Articles in Liverpool City Centre.
Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993, Carol has concentrated exclusively on acting for injured Claimants and bereaved families. She is passionate about assisting families who have faced the trauma of serious and fatal injuries, working hard to help them rebuild their lives and assisting them through the most difficult of times.
Her expertise is acknowledged by her additon to the Child Brain Injury Trust Panel, Headway Approved Solicitors List, The Brain Injury Group and Senior Litigator Status with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Carol has acted in many multi million pound cases including a medical negligence case where the negligence had occurred some 30 years earlier and all medical records had been destroyed. Carol was commended by the Judge for succeeding with a case that other lawyers had declined.
In her spare time, Carol is a volunteer for Brake the National Road Safety Charity and is active in raising funds for The Motor Neurone Disease Association and Cerebra, a charity that supports neurologically impaired children and their families. Carol is also a school Governor and part of the Waterloo Traders Group.
